To what extent are new technologies challenging modern Storytelling? We are discussing this question in current contexts and using concrete examples at the CHANGING THE PICTURE Technology Conference. This hands-on event is aimed at producers for film, TV and the web as well as distributors and innovative media technologists.

This year, key topics include the discussion of technologies influencing storytelling and production value, the question if social media channels are becoming new entertainment providers, the importance of intelligent sound in interactive applications, and the boundaries between film and VR. On the second day, practical tech sessions give deeper insights into specific topics & tools.

Our matchmaking program enables targeted one-on-one encounters between participants to develop their strategies and networks.

WHERE TECH AND STORYTELLING INTERTWINE – under this slogan, CHANGING THE PICTURE brings together international speakers and participants from across film, television and digital production sectors, ranging from storytellers to producers and creative technologists of transmedia, VR/AR formats, as well as broadcasters and distributors.
