Digital Cinema Summit 2008

Auf der NAB-Website - Stand 3. KW 2008 - wird diese Veranstaltung als "Training"-Session angezeigt. Eine Bewerbung im Rahmen des NAB-Calls for Papers war nicht möglich. Also sind offensichtlich SMPTE und das Entertainment Technology Center die eigentlichen Drahtzieher dieser Veranstaltung, die wie folgt angekündigt wird:


The Digital Cinema Summit will address issues relevant to Hollywood and the global film industry’s transition to digital technology. Top content creators, packagers and distributors convene with theatrical exhibitors, broadcasters, and others working in all aspects of digital cinema. Topics to be addressed at the Summit include digital cinematography, stereoscopic production, art direction, digital intermediate workflow, d-cinema mastering, 2D and 3D distribution, issues in exhibition, anti-piracy, and the progress of the standards process.
