I.
This Friday, 9:10 am GMT +1: The first incoming office call. The number indicated says: 0035722022644
Answering this call was a mistake, due to the fact, that the first digits were close to the Luxembourg prefix: 00352...
But the origin was 0035"7": Cyprus.
II.
It was not the first time, our office number was approached by a call center agent [1].
He insisted in asking questions about the property market in Germany.
The refusal answering these questions does not make him stop in insisting.
After three in vain attempts, the English speaking agent with an Indian accent made clear, that he is informed about the private address of the addressee as well as his office address here in Germany.
"Your number has been chosen at random", he said, "and if you do not answer this time, we will call you again and again".
III.
Starting office work with this kind of conversation is not fun, but it was decided to continue this mind-bashing conversation as long as possible to continue and finalize the process of identifying the origin of the caller.
The results of these backtracing efforts will not be published [2]
But if this organization will continue this kind of telko-stalking, they are going to have a hard time, too.
IV.
On Monday, January 15th, 1:00 pm., we were approached again by the same # by another caller. This time we gave a last legal warning.
V.
These calls were continued during the following week. At the end of this week a complaint was sent to the Bundesnetzagentur - and the reception was confirmed on Monday, 22.01.2018, 13:11.
Just about time to be prepared for the next call from the same caller... at 14:03 h.
