Reuters is Hiring for our Second Life Team
Do you live inside Second Life? Have you got solid SL design and building skills? Do you dream in LSL code?
If so, then do we have a job for you!
It’s the best of both worlds: you can work on fun, cutting edge technology with a stable company that won’t disappear tomorrow.
Reuters is looking for solid Second Life citizens - people whose avatars are at least six months old - to help us build our next-generation presence in Second Life.
We’re looking for people who:
– Are proficient in LSL
– Have a superior design aesthetic
– Can turn designs provided by third parties into exquisite Second Life creations
– Understand the Second Life community and in-world etiquette
The best candidates will also be skilled in:
– The Linux command-line environment (particularly Red Hat variants)
– Apache server configuration and maintenance
– WordPress
– PHP scripting
– SQL coding (particularly MySQL)
– HTML/CSS
We strongly prefer candidates based in the New York City area, as that is where the rest of our Second Life team is located.
Are you the perfect candidate for us? If so, please send an e-mail to:
Reuters(dot)SecondLife(dot)Jobs(at)gmail(dot)com
...and be sure to include your Second Life avatar name and a copy of (or link to) your resume.
